Desert Bus 2023

Just got back from a whirlwind week in Victoria, bouncing around in front of a camera to raise money for Child’s Play.

Desert Bus For Hope, the unstoppable force of madness and comedy that I hold so dear, was able to raise almost $1.2 MILLION (USD) this year, and I am unbelievably proud of everybody involved. Didn’t have an overlapping gig this year, so I was able to be there for the full week. I’ve never been so happy to be unemployed.

One of the cool things I got to work on was a series of Philomena Cunk parody sketches (more of an homage really, and very much legally distinct from IP theft); written by myself and then punched-up and performed by the most excellent Kathleen De Vere. Click HERE for a playlist!
